David Hosking joins the BPOTY judging panel

The Bird Photographer of the Year team is thrilled to announce that wildlife photographer David Hosking is joining the judging panel for the 2020 competition cycle. David is one of the UK’s most respected photographers, with years of experience to his name in the world of bird photography and publishing. He will be a great asset to BPOTY. As many of you will know, David is the son of legendary Eric Hosking whose pioneering bird photography inspired many of us to pick up a camera for the first time.

David is also chairman of the Eric Hosking Charitable Trust. The aims of the Trust are to sponsor natural history and ornithological research through the media of photography, painting, illustration or writing.
