Prizes

From 2020 The Young Bird Photographer of the Year competition will be divided into 3 age classes with a prize for the winner of each as outlined below. Our thanks go to our sponsors Swarovski Optik for providing the binoculars as the main prize.

0-8 Years

The winner of our 0-8 year old category will receive £100 in cash.

9-13 Years

The winner of our 9-13 year old category will receive £200 in cash.

14-17 Years

The winner of our 14 to 18 year old age category will receive £300 in cash.

The overall winner of Young Bird Photographer of the Year will be chosen by the Judges from the winners of the above three age categories. The winner will receive a pair of Swarovski Optik CL Pocket 8x25 binoculars worth approximately £500, and the title Young Bird Photographer of the Year.
